The Hvz Theorem for a Pseudo-relativistic Operator
نویسنده
چکیده
The localization of the essential spectrum of a relativistic twoelectron ion is provided. The analysis is performed with the help of the pseudorelativistic Brown-Ravenhall operator which is the restriction of the CoulombDirac operator to the electrons’ positive spectral subspace.

Localization of the Essential Spectrum for Relativistic N-Electron Ions and Atoms
The HVZ theorem is proven for the pseudorelativistic N electron Jansen-Hess operator (2 ≤ N ≤ Z) which acts on the spinor Hilbert space A(H1(R)⊗C) where A denotes antisymmetrization with respect to particle exchange. This ’no pair’ operator results from the decoupling of the electron and positron degrees of freedom up to second order in the central potential strength γ = Ze. 2000 Mathematics Su...
متن کاملThe Hvz Theorem for N -particle Schrödinger Operators on Lattice
The N -particle Schrödinger operator H(K), K ∈ (−π, π], K being the total quasi-momentum, with short-range pair potentials on lattice Z, d ≥ 1, is considered. For fixed total quasimomentum K , the structure of H(K) ’s essential spectrum is described and the analogue of the Hunziker – van Winter – Zhislin (HVZ) theorem is proved. INTRODUCTION In the sixties, fundamental results on the essential ...
متن کاملNonlinear Picone identities to Pseudo $p$-Laplace operator and applications
In this paper, we derive a nonlinear Picone identity to the pseudo p-Laplace operator, which contains some known Picone identities and removes a condition used in many previous papers. Some applications are given including a Liouville type theorem to the singular pseudo p-Laplace system, a Sturmian comparison principle to the pseudo p-Laplace equation, a new Hardy type inequality with weight an...
متن کاملOn the essential spectrum of the Jansen-Hess operator for two-electron ions
Based on the HVZ theorem and dilation analyticity of the pseudorelativistic no-pair Jansen-Hess operator, it is shown that for subcritical potential strength (Z ≤ 90) the singular continuous spectrum is absent. The bound is slightly higher (Z ≤ 102) for the Brown-Ravenhall operator whose eigenvalues λ are, by the virial theorem, confined to λ < 2m if Z ≤ 50.

The aim of this paper is to prove new quantitative uncertainty principle for the generalized Fourier transform connected with a Dunkl type operator on the real line. More precisely we prove An Lp-Lq-version of Morgan's theorem.
